- Visitor Identification
When you visit our website our web server automatically recognizes your domain name. We use cookies to store your preferences and to record session information, such as items added to your shopping cart and past activity at our site. This allows us to provide better service when you revisit Marie Fox Folk Art because we can customize web page content based on your browser type or other information.
Cookies contain no personal information about you and only Marie Fox Folk Art can retrieve them. The information collected is used for internal review only and is then discarded. 1. When you place an online order we collect your email address. At this time we will ask permission to send you promotional emails including notification of new products and exclusive offers. If you choose not to receive these emails you will be removed from our email list.
2. When you ask us a question by email or leave a comment at Sign Our Guestbook we collect your email address. We will ask your permission to send you promotional emails and you will have the choice to receive them or to be removed from our email list.
3. If you sign up to receive promotional emails from us including notification of new products and exclusive offers we will consider this permission to do so. Every promotional email we send will contain an option for you to be removed from our email list.
4. We will not rent or exchange any email address collected or given to us at Marie Fox Folk Art. Occasionally we will send you an email notice featuring a product or service that is not ours. While we may be paid for this endorsement we will present only products or services we would be proud to share with you and that we feel would be of interest.
5. If we rent email lists from outside sources we will use only lists containing email addresses of individuals who have given permission for their email addresses to be used in this manner.
- Mailing Addresses
The following are our policies for the collection of mailing addresses.
1. Unless notified otherwise, we will mail future printed information to any mailing address collected from an online order. If you have not placed an online order but would like to receive such mailings, please provide your name and mailing address at Sign Our Guestbook or by email at marie@mariefox.com. Please contact us if you wish to be removed from our mailing list.
2. Upon occasion we will share with other companies the mailing addresses of individuals who have purchased products at our site. We will make this offer only to companies we ourselves would do business with and whom we believe would be of interest to you. If you want your name and address removed from all shared mailing lists, please let us know at marie@mariefox.com. Be assured that your personal information will not be shared.
Changes in Policies
From time to time we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at any time, we will post the policy changes on our website and give you the option to be excluded from these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, please check this page periodically or email us with your questions.
