Great tour of your website. Thanks
- G.Y., CA

I just love your work. I'm originally from Maine.
- V.F., new york

Thank you Marie! The print is beautiful - I love it. You are very talented.:
- K.L.

I have been browsing the internet for folk art prints and have found several artists whose work I especially liked, but when I got to your site it knocked my socks off. Being a transplanted New Englander I have been in the suburbs of Maryland for 29 years I felt a lovely glow of warmth and happiness just looking at your prints…In short…..they made me happy. They are alive with color. I can smell the ocean and feel sun shine.
- D.W.

Our home is the one pictured in the print "When Lilacs Bloom". We have lived there since 1983. It is a beautiful print!!
- S.M., MA

I just love your Home From School painting...looks just like our place! I'm attaching a picture of our house and barn. Your art is fantastic, and shows such a real understanding of and love for the simplicity of this type of life.
- B.B., N.Y.

I just want to say that I love your work! I was so excited to find these. I grew up in Duxbury Mass. and now live in Texas. These prints make me feel like I'm home again. Thank You.
- R.C., Texas

We bought a print of your Historic Boston painting in 1992 when we were visiting Boston and it has adorned our kitchen wall in England and now in New Zealand ever since! Our son was able to name all the buildings when he was three!!!
- A.C., Dunedin

The site and art look great.
- P.H., MA

Not only does your folkart have an outspoken visual appeal through its use of shapes, composition, and colors, but it has simultaneously an emotional appeal through the old-fashioned charm and uncomplicated innocence-of-life it depicts.
- B.W., Arizona

LOVE YOUR WORK!! Just wonderful, and makes me remember my days in New England!
- M.K., Oregon

I have to start by saying that I love your work! After living 20 years in Duxbury, MA and at that time purchasing the Duxbury print that you did, I moved to Plymouth and I'm sure that I have seen a Historic Plymouth print. If the print is still available, I would love to purchase it. Since I now live in Maryland, looking at these prints takes me "home".
- C.T.

Thank you for the link to this amazing web site. It is a great joy to see your art and your successes. I have bookmarked your web site and also sent it on to some of my friends.
- B.S., MA

Sweet Dreams reminds me of cuddling in bed with the homemade dolls of my childhood. Thanks for the memories!
- D.J.

What an awesome talent you have. It was such a pleasure to meet you today.
- R.K., California

I would love a print of Catching Fireflies which was not available when we were in the U.S.
- J.J., Cornwall TR19 6PQ

Marie: Our B&B guests from England have expressed interest in your print Catching Fireflies. We will suggest that Judy and Paul from Mousehole, England contact you directly. We enjoyed your web site. Excellent job.
- B.C., MA

I am so excited to have found your website! I have 4 of your prints, my favorite being "Catching Fireflies" which I purchased about 15 - 20 years ago! It is signed and numbered and hangs in my living room! I grew up in a house very similar to the one in your print and catching fireflies was a favorite activity! Your art brings back so many fond memories of my childhood! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with all of us!
- B.H., Vermont

Hello Marie. I wanted you to know that the Catching Fireflies print arrived on Saturday and I am just thrilled.
- S.L., Massachusetts

Beautiful Print! Reminds me of my days on Cape Cod! Thank you!
- C.J., Oregon

My favorite print by Marie is '1637 Duxbury 1987' which is hanging in my dining room. My wife loves the print. In the background is Duxbury Beach and my favorite place the Gurnet and next to it the Lighthouse where I grew up.
- P.C., Oregon

i LOVE your work!
- K.P., florida

Twenty Years and I am still such a fan of your work. Once upon a time I had to beg for someone to part with their limited signed sold-out print of "Duxbury" in the classified section of the Clipper. Thank you so very much for sharing your talent with us not so gifted "artists." I look forward to adding "Catching Fireflies" to "Home for Christmas" & "Duxbury 1687-1987".
- S.L., MA

Oh the print arrived a few minutes ago, via Federal Express. First of all the container is so easy to open and extracting the print without mishap was a breeze. And your classy tissue paper was also lovely. And I do love, love, love that print. It totally brightens up any room I put it in. It's going in my living room, although it would be good in the bedroom too. Anywhere. It is so brilliant, the beauty and color just pops out at me. I am so glad you are in business and I'm able to get your prints.
- C.K., California

I have a Marie Fox original hanging in my study. It is one of my most valued treasures.
- H.H., CT

Wow...Love your website... Congratulations, it truly is fabulous... first class. Your work looks great & the site is so informative. I will forward it to all.
- H.F., SC

Wow Marie, I thought that your paintings would be nice, maybe even great. I had no idea they would be incredible. I read more on your website this morning and it provides such an interesting view of both you, your paintings and the art world in general. Thanks for sharing and letting me share your art with the world. P.S. I look forward to receiving your special offers and news from Marie Fox Folk Art.
- D.G., California

Awesome site!
- A.J., CA

Ordering was a breeze, very pleasant. I'm thinking of several places to hang Fireflies, and I'm looking forward to seeing where the best place is.
- C.K., California

How very exciting to see such a wonderful funtionning and most attractive website but even more to read your wonderful and romantic story. We had a 1700s house in Byfield MA in the early 1960s so I know your Duxbury terrain well. Your paintings evoke some wonderful memories for me. Thanks so much. Lots of good luck with your website.
- P.F., ca

The picture of Boston-- the land of the bean and the cod, where the Lowells speak only to Cabots, and the Cabots speak only to God--graces our living room wall and, with its constant remembrance of things past, not just the Lowells, but also the rest of us, Paul Revere, the Old North Church, the Merry Old Tea Party, and even the kid in the Twenties running his hoop down the street, the Consitution with sails unfurled; all this is a recreation of who we we were and of who we are today. Thank you
- P.A., ca

Your site is wonderful!
- B.H., OR

I love the prints and your website. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge as well as your history. Your website is very enjoyable.
- R.P., CA

Wow, this is such a great site, Marie! It's clear and engaging and lively and fun -- and it's the best kind of history: colorful and respectful and generous of heart. Bravo!
- H.S., MA

Snappy colors, literate and interesting text -- much depth and detail-- another art piece!
- A.D.

Marie - this is a wonderful site! I'm sitting in my office at home where we have three of your prints. I just love looking at them every day while I'm in here. It makes me remember having you here, plus they're so much fun in and of themselves.
- S.H., MA

I can't believe how detailed this is and easy to get around. The images are vivid and bright. I love everything you've said about your background, history, love of art and how you got where you are today.
- R.F., Ma.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to get this print. Thanks.
- W.S., texas

Your art is so accessible. It’s so touchable.
- D.J., California

Absolutely stunning print. Love it.
- B.F., Connecticut

It is amazing that you do have pictures all over the world. That is a wonderful thing. You brighten up a lot of people’s lives. You should have seen how excited I was when I found your print.
- R.C., Massachusetts

I LOVE the print! Wish I could afford the original!!! You certainly have captured the Nantucket scene. We have been visiting Nantucket several times a year as our quick "get-a-way" spot. When I saw your print, I knew I just had to have it....
- K.F., MA

Sweet Dreams reminds me of being tucked into bed with my doll Elizabeth. She’s the same, I’m older but I feel like a kid when I look at your painting.
- S.R., Connecticut

Please how might I purchase a copy of the lovely print I saw on Willard Scott’s Today show yesterday. I rarely visit New England these day - I grew up in New Hampshire. I would enjoy this remembrance of my childhood. Looking forward to your response. Thank you.
- M.S., Florida

I visited Boston for the first time with my father. Your print is in my study well reminding me of that special trip.
- C.G., California

If there were a “national anthem” of folk art it would be your print of children running after fireflies. I have one in the house, one in the cottage and I’ve given a half dozen as gifts to friends and family.
- J.B., Massachusetts

What I see in your art is that the sweetness of the memories replaces the struggles of growing up.
- J.J., California

I was more than pleasantly surprised when I received my order from you. The print of children with fireflies is so much more beautiful than I expected. Please put me on your mailing list. I will order again.
- J.V., Connecticut

I had to write to tell you how much my two small children love all the little details in your print, especially the animals!
- S.J., New York

It’s even more gorgeous than I remembered it when we bought it on Charles Street during our visit to Boston. They shipped it for us and I thought to write you a thank you note. Also please let me know when you have other prints like this one.
- D.D.

I saw your “Catching Fireflies” in the director’s office at the Choral Institute. It is WONDERFUL!! I stitch and concentrate on American primitives - Right now, I am doing Housatonic, Mass, an old mill village. Am planning my next piece which may or may not be a real place... Would like to ask you some technical questions on how you work.
- S.Y., Massachusetts

What an amazing coincidence. For years, we’ve stayed with friends in Duxbury during the summers. Well in April I visited a friend in Naples Florida and was I surprised to see your framed Duxbury poster hanging in her front entry hall! She had seen it on The Today Show and ordered it directly from you!
- M.N., Massachusetts

Thanks for your wonderful interpretation of our historic King Caesar House!
- E.D., Massachusetts

I was excited to find the poster of Boston. I would like another one for a talk I am giving this spring.
- B.V., New York

Our daughter loves to read the American Girl series and collects the dolls that go with the books. She makes paper dolls and designs clothes for them. On her birthday we bought her the two of yours that have dolls: 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Once Upon a Time.' They hang in her bedroom where she studies their hidden details. She especially likes the "old clothes" you put in the small framed paintings and photographs. Maybe she'll become a costume designer! Ps. Please let me know when you make other prints.
- L.W., Texas

Just wanted to say thanks for being such a wonderful folk artist!
- E.M., North Carolina

Your work is beautiful and I hope to be able to purchase additional pieces. Thank you!
- L.H., Masachusetts

Every time I go into the kitchen and I’m by myself I feel nurtured and cared for when I look at your prints of Sweet Dreams and Once Upon A Time.
- B.A., Rhode Island

My sons have used your 'Historic Boston' image for school history reports. I helped carry the framed print into their classes so they would have a special visual aid. Sure beats power point! Thanks for a special 'show and tell.'
- N.W., New Jersey

This print of Children & Fireflies is so sweet! I’m off to find a frame for it.
- S.T., Massachusetts

This year we decided not to buy Christmas gifts because of our new baby who will be born in February. But I really want to buy my wife your “Sweet Dreams” print for a surprise! On the night before Christmas I’m going to sneak downstairs and hang it on the wall behind the rocking chair where she sits all the time now. I can’t wait to see her face when she finds your print! She will be so excited and happy! Me too!!! ps She loves the painting we bought at the gallery in Vermont!
- K.L., Missouri

Your Boston print is unbelievably full of details about the history of the city. The people have such character! They absolutely do!
- M.S., Boston

I love to look in the windows in your paintings and see what people are doing.
- J.M., New York
