Skating Party SALE: Price shown is 40% off
Item: 3040     Price: $24.00

Winter in old Duxbury features a carrot-nosed snowman and campfire, tobogganing, sled and sleigh rides, and a skating party. A wedge of flying geese helps us migrate back to an ideal time when ice was never too thin.

The antique house which hosts this merry event invokes happy childhood memories of hot cocoa and community. Three generations of this family skate together and everyone is welcome. Father and son perfect a figure-eight as the girls giggle, twirl, or ace an arabesque. Grandparents glide by a pair of Olympic hopefuls with smiling encouragement. As cheeks get rosy and toes go numb, I eagerly lace my skates to join the fun.

Companion Folk Art Prints:
Combine these two country folk art prints for a delightful duet whose theme is children having fun in a protected environment. Enjoy the visual play of summer and winter, day and night, family and community.
